15 MAY 2005 Pentecost Sunday
Sharing From The Participants

WEATHER
"During the week of May 6, there was heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and lightning and the weather was terrible for the whole week. However, on Sunday, May 15th, the weather report called for rain but the sky was mainly cloudy and blue with a light breeze. During worship, the sun shone only on the Cross of our display and nowhere else. During repentance, the sky was cloudy and dull. During the song "Shine Jesus Shine", the sun was out again. Eagles were flying overhead the whole time.

There was no rain until 11.30pm at night after the participants had time to return home after the evening session. Then there was heavy downpour. I feel like God is saying that our land has been dry and lacking His presence for so long. We have been living in a spiritual drought for so many years. But today, He heard our prayers, our confessions and our cry for more of Him. He saw our repentant and hungry hearts. It was as if a huge rainstorm was sent to symbolize the spiritual rain from above."

PRAYERS
"it was so exhilarating to experience the power of God as the Church of God came together to repent, to praise and to pray"

"As I (a representative on stage) was praying, I felt it so powerfully that everyone was with me and responding in agreement to what I was saying. I felt the unity amongst those who participated"

"It is the special time in HK history since Billy Graham that so many believers gather together, not to hear a named evangelist, but to humble themselves and look to God, to pray, to repent and to glorify God. People in stadiums are not there to RECEIVE but to GIVE BACK to God the praise, honor and glory due to Him."

UNITY - WORSHIP
"There was an excellent balance of traditional hymns and lively praise songs. Also a diversity of musicians with a collected blend were drawn together to minister to all"

"The choice of songs was excellent. Many were moved to tears"

"The Filipino dance expressing praise to God right at the start brought the joy of the Lord into the Stadium. The tambourine dancers were particularly good in the Coliseum"

UNITY - FLAGS
"As the flag bearers streamed into the stadiums, the sight of the flags representing the many nations was overwhelming. Many were moved to tears. The flags reminded us that we, the small city of HK, are part of the united prayer movement of the world and just as we prayed for every nation, those countries were also praying for us"

." The appearing of flags of all nations signifies the need for global unity of all believers as a Body of Christ. We need to care and pray for each other; bless each other. Only as we pray for each other in unity as a body in Christ can we move the hand of God and bring down strong holds. God has taken HK to a Global level. HK churches, apart from focusing on HK people, its revival and unity of churches, should also pray for other nations."

UNITY - PASTORAL STAFF
"Pastoral staff who responded to the altar call declared in unity that they do not belong to a certain church or denomination but that they belong to serve the Church of HK. Hallelujah! This must have been so pleasing to the Lord! At the end, all participants and leaders declared that the HK church will be the House of Prayer for all Nations.
The GDOP has drawn the Body of Christ closer together. A NEW THING has started¡K..HK will be a house of prayer for all nations! Amen"

WORKING TEAM

"Most of the teams are not professional and they did not know one another previously for this was the first time that they worked together. Some of them are managers or persons in charge of others in our own workplace. But they all worked in humility, submissiveness, understanding and excellence. Except God, no one can move them"

OTHER BLESSINGS
"We were given the free use of the stage platform and overhanging 360 degree screen in Coliseum as they were given to us from the previous event. We were also given free transportation, water and tea, T shirts, advertising space, donation bags and so on. We were also blessed to have the voluntary help of the Bankers Fellowship, Sea Cadets, and St. John's Salvation Army".

NEWS REPORTS
"The event was covered in most of the leading local newspapers.. Late news on Pearl TV, ATV and cable (local) T.V stations showed positive reports of the event.
A video News Report with an interview of the Head of the evangelical churches of HK -Pastor Wilson Chow has been submitted to CBN for use in the "the 700 Club" and the half-hour special on "Christian World News"
