Christian churches and marketplace leaders unite to bring the hope and love of Christ to Tin Shui Wai.

In response to the increasingly serious and seemingly unsolvable social problems in Tin Shui Wai (an area notorious for group suicides, rampant drug abuse among the youth, domestic violence, etc.), an event called Passion Generation, will be held on October 21, 2006 Saturday at the Ginza Square in Tin Shui Wai.

The event is a joint effort between Citywide Renewal, Mission to New Arrivals and the Tin Shui Wai Pastors' Fellowship. This partnership is particularly significant in that Christian leaders from the church and marketplace are uniting together to bring the message of Jesus Christ to targeted areas in Hong Kong where there is a sense of hopelessness and helplessness.

Passion Generation features exciting and passionate bands, musicals and personal testimonies from young people whose lives have been changed by Christ. This Saturday's Passion Generation in Tin Shui Wai will include performing guests such as singer and song-writer Peco Chui (who has written songs for Eason Chan and Miriam Yeung), Metro Radio's DJs Kay, LoLo and Fastbeat, as well as Sonset Free, a new and funky rock band.

Rev. Samuel Lai, a former drug addict who is now known as the Pastor of Temple Street and is a committee member of ACAN (Action Committee Against Narcotics), will be sharing a passionate message that will impact lives of many who are desperate to find hope, acceptance and love.
